Really like this one, especially the way you coveyed the texture of the bark and moss. There's also something quite intense and slightly unsettling about those eyes. Great job!

AarixOrb responds:

Thank you so much! :D

This could genuinely be an album cover for the most metal album in existence, and I mean that in the best possible way.

Serafin-corpse responds:

Jajjaja, you're right, the only part left is the name of the band with illegible letters and presto! the album cover is done.

While I've never seen the show that inspired this fanart, it honestly works just as well as a stand-alone piece. The light and shadows are fantastic, and I think you captured this quiet moment between two characters perfectly.

holo303 responds:

Tysm ! Credits to marshall adams' cinematography. Theres lots of rly nice shots in this show

I only know of Monster Hunter by name, but I can still appreciate that this is a stunning piece of work. You excel at visual effects, which sells the magical vibe of the illustration. Great job!

MEBItheArtist responds:

thanks!

Absolutely awesome, I literally can't decide what I love more. Your interpretation of a bat's anatomy, the terrifying expression, the looming shadow encroaching the viewer - it all just screams menace in the best possible way. Fan-tas-tic.

Daeino responds:

thank You so much! :D

Love the inspiration for this piece, it definitely makes sense and gives you food for thought. Who knows what future civilizations will make of our pop-cultural mainstays and memes? Perhaps they will think of them as deities from the ancient past.

Another fantastic work, hats off.

ultra-shenanigans responds:

Thanks.

I think the urban legend type of things like aliens, chupacabra, yeti and similar have staying power. I used to read a lot about that sort of stuff maybe 20 something years ago when I was a kid and these things just keep going back into fashion again and again.

Medusa was always one of my favorite characters from Greek mythology, I just really love her powers. This is a wonderful interpretation of her, I love the almost vintage comic-book style you went for. Great work!

fonzzothemasked responds:

Thank you so much.

Loving the diversity in form and facial expressions. My personal favorite is "slightly anxious and overwhelmed red fun-guy" in the upper-middle. He gets me.

Cindytoon responds:

hehe thanks, that is a cordyceps mushroom, they kinda look like cheetos :3

I don't think there's anything "right" about introducing this into the world, but it's delightfully wrong and I love it. You nailed both parts of the design - mango and cephalopod - and fused them into an unholy union that is both and neither of those things at the same time. I especially like the suckers. Awesome!

drachenmagier responds:

Minimal confession, the mango image is just random stock found on google. :D I was definitely too lazy to draw a real mango by hand for such a dumb post. XD But it makes me happy that you enjoyed it non the less! Especially the suckers~.

Hello!
I love nature, science, Pokémon, gay stuff (both SFW and NSFW) and making comics - not necessarily in that order. My NG journey is about sharing all kinds of works and accepting that they're all equally valid ways of expressing myself through art.
