Such a simple scene but you managed to cram so much character and ambiance into it. I love how dimly lit everything is, which makes the screens pop. Reed's pose is so well done. Great work!

peppermintboye responds:

Thank you so much!! I really wanted to play around with how much character i could put into a drawing only using shades of one color, im really proud of how it turned out :)

You can just tell Kevin does 10d6+67 trampling damage. Only legends.

Beautiful illustration! A very diverse cast of characters and you've made them all look terrific.

Dalblauw responds:

Ahahahaha yes the widely feared and infamous Kevin Stomp

Thank you so much!

A+ material. You nailed the style you were going for, from the tiger's expressive face to the beautiful tree canopy. Great job!

Chobiluck responds:

I am happy you enjoy the style! It was something I been wanting to try for a very long time and happy I tried to draw finally! It taught me alot! I hope to do more pieces like this sometime this year!

This is pretty great actually. I love the cape and the hardened expression, and the sketchiness of the pencil lines works well here. Good job!

heavywithsecrets responds:

yea everybody really likes this one lol. glad u enjoyed!

"From hydrothermal vents to the exosphere and beyond!"

Incredible work. All of the environments, as well as the snake itself, have this crisp, beautifully stylized yet still somehow realistic feel. Your art just radiates confidence, it's a joy to look at. My personal favorite part is the snow covered mountain surrounded by clouds.

isaiahrossart responds:

Wow, that's the most positive response I've ever gotten on one of my works. It's very much appreciated, thank you.

This was an interesting comic. I enjoyed the references to the caste system in social insect societies and the mind-controlling effect of Cordyceps fungi. Well done and good luck in the contest!

Indexth responds:

Thank you so much!!

Wow. Just... wow. Your art style, as always, is a joy to look at. I could honestly write for ages picking apart all the details I liked - the colors and shading are particular highlights. The vibe of this comic is odd in the best possible way. It's such a fantastical little story, that somehow already feels epic and huge in spite of only being 16 pages long. I don't know if you have plans to further develop this universe and create a longform story set in it, but I encourage you to do so. Stellar work, good luck in the contest!

dogmuth-behedog responds:

Thank you so much for your words!
This comic is for the purpose of connect all my works, if you have free time dive in my works and you see some familiar faces in this comic.
And yes, i will continue with this project but the work rythm will be more slow.

First of all, this comic looks incredible, which is all the more impressive when you consider it's all pixel art! So many of the panels are breathtakingly beautiful - you really know your medium inside-out and are able to draw out its maximum. Telling a story through poetry can be a tricky and challenging prospect, but the core message I took away from your comic is simply this: life is just an unending chain of generations inheriting the world from their ancestors, and it is our responsibility to act with the wellbeing of our descendants in mind. And honestly, it's a powerful idea, and something that needs to be repeated regardless of how many times we've heard it before. In any event, great job and good luck in the contest!

SounDoG-2031 responds:

You're too kind. It simply felt right to go forth with the visual style I'm best at. And very I'm glad that's what you got out of my story. I really felt that all I said through this did need to be said again, and hearing that it has resonated with someone is simply fantastic. That's what art's all about after all!

Best of luck to you too!!

Beautiful. So many small details that create a setting and provide information about the character. The thing that caught my eye were the DnD dice next to the crystal ball - I will always have time for a witch who roleplays in her free time.

Damare-Draws responds:

I am so glad you noticed all the small details! thank you so much! <3

And what a first post it is! You've struck the perfect balance between an anatomically correct cheetah and the anthropomorphism in the facial expression. The lighting only makes it cooler. Great work!

Sodenda2013 responds:

Thank you so much! ❤️

Hello!
I love nature, science, Pokémon, gay stuff (both SFW and NSFW) and making comics - not necessarily in that order. My NG journey is about sharing all kinds of works and accepting that they're all equally valid ways of expressing myself through art.
