Lovely little comic! The sea battle scenes were awesome, and the ending makes you want to read more. Looking forward to the next part should you decide to make one!

[Eva Devouring One of His Children]

The painting that inspired this is already one of my favorite pieces of art, just for how grim and unsettling it is. But I would NEVER in a million years make the connection with NGE and create something that fits in so perfectly with the tone of the source material while adding more layers to it. It takes a brilliant mind I guess. Awesome work, hats off.

I never watched this show that much to be honest, but I love this drawing. You did a great job aging Jake, he looks awesome in your artstyle. And I'm a sucker for facial hair, so I appreciate the little goatee.

I'm always fascinated by speculative evolution, and I think you've done a great job here. The amount of detail you put in is incredible and really sells Thalassoraptor as a plausible animal. I for one would love to see you flesh out this alternate reality further - gigantic Xenarthrans and land pterosaurs sound very interesting!

Thanks a lot. I've got about 11 more species already drawn out, some of them from different time periods, mostly from South America. They just need to be colored. Funny enough, the pterosaurs are probably the least recognizable of the whole bunch.

Edit: I meant to write "Monotreme" instead of Xenarthrans, but I can't see why there can't be both.

Its piercing gaze seems to simultaneously say "I could grind your body to dust with but a flick of my scepter" and "Where is my food, human?"

Really liked the humor in this chapter. Ifne and Sindel are comedy gold as always, but that brief manga-style flashback was my favorite bit. I took it as a very deliberate jab at bad scanlation sites, so great job there!

I'm only marginally upset that the first time I have ever drawn Archmage Jeto, a character I've had even longer than Briar, was in this chapter as a yaoi boy

This looks so much like an actual, proper album cover. I can literally imagine it looking at me from the CD/vinyl racks, and I can almost imagine the music that would be on it too! You did a fantastic job with this, well done.

Both the concepts and the rendering style are wonderful, you nailed the "old scientific book" illustration style. The fruit tick is my favorite, it's ridiculously cute. Great job!
