The creature design is fantastic, and the way you brought it to life is just as impressive. I really like the tail actually, it's very crocodilian in appearance and you can never have too many crocs. Great work!

[(COMIC) BIRD OF PREY - PROLOGUE PART 1]

That... was certainly NOT where I expected this comic would go! The ending feels a bit abrupt, shocking even, but that's unavoidable when you have to condense a much bigger plot into 16 pages. I will say that it's definitely interesting and makes me want to read more. Your uncomplicated art style works with this story, and I enjoyed the characters - I thought they were pretty well set up even in the small space they were given, Mackenzie in particular. Good work and good luck in the contest!

[Two 'toos hanging about]

Oh my stars, the colors! Absolutely marvelous, the cockatoos just pop off so well against the more subdued background. The shading is incredible as well - this would make an amazing t-shirt print. Great work!

[Golden Hour]

Love what you did with a very limited color palette. The lion's pose is excellent, you get a real sense of pride and intensity from his gaze alone. Fantastic work!

Beautiful and oddly humbling. Seeing planets from this perspective makes you appreciate how something that is literally the whole world to you is just a small speck in an enormous universe. Well done!

[Romi the Rattish Rogue (Full Comic)]

This is an excellent comic. Romi is a great protagonist, and having the story told through her inner monologue lets her personality and wit shine. You manage to set up, build up and satisfyingly resolve the plot in 16 pages, while also making me interested in what happens to Romi next. Love the linework, but especially the colors and how you use them to convey mood and ambience. And there are neat moments of humor scattered throughout - all hail Fish Pope. Basically, I really enjoyed this. Great work and good luck in the contest!

Amazing how you've created this gorgeous scene based on such a trivial piece of inspiration. The background is so lush, and the monkey looks fantastic. Just looking at this is literally taking me to my happy place.

In all seriousness, great chapter. Love seeing the group develop a close relationship, and the cloaked men in the beginning hint at more interesting developments. And I don't even need to mention it but wow the art is just consistently top-notch. Looking forward to the next chapter!
